Chiropody Program
Chiropody is a field in health care that involves the assessment and treatment of a range of issues that affect the feet. People of all ages and various states of health may need to see the chiropodist (foot specialist) for a number of reasons- foot pain, warts, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot exam, fungal infection, rashes and biomechanical disorders.

The chiropody program at the CCRIHC provides chiropody services to patients of all ages, with emphasis on prevention of lower limb amputation among persons with diabetes mellitus and/or vascular diseases. The services are free of cost but referral from your primary care provider (family physician or nurse practitioner) is required.
